A trainee licence is subject to passing ADI Part 2, completing the required training, DVSA approval, meeting all eligibility requirements and entering into the applicable Steady Start trainee and franchise agreements. Training requirements may vary according to individual progress.

Payment plans and other costs
You can pay your course fee in full or spread it over 6 or 12 monthly instalments, interest free and with no payment plan fee. The first payment is due before training begins. We’ll confirm your payment dates and exact amounts before you enrol. Whichever option you choose, the total course fee is the price shown above.
Your course fee covers the training, resources and support listed in your package. DVSA test fees, DBS checks, trainee licence and ADI registration fees, test retakes, vehicle costs and insurance are extra.
If you work under a Steady Start sponsored trainee licence, you’ll need a separate trainee and franchise agreement. The franchise fee is £75 per week in addition to your course payments and starts on the date set out in that agreement. You can train for the direct Part 3 route without joining the franchise.
